So last night the Architecture college put on a ball, it was soooooooo much fun!!!! My friends Kara and Salome and I had Frank (who works at Posners) do our make up. I was a gazelle, Kara was a white tiger and Salome was a swan. Frank made my horns too!

So, I think i screwed up...last night was just bad. I found out something that really hurt to hear, which made me mad, so I left an very angry message while simultaneously pouring my heart out, which is made worse due to my slight tipsyness...just bad. And I can't get any response...I think i may have just ruined any chance I had...but should i even really want that chance? I don't think I should, but I want it!

Architecture Fun!

So last night was fun...I got to the arc building at about 11 in the morning. Worked until about 4:30, ordered pita pit, kept working...
Then around 8 my mom came to visit, i turned around on the slippery floor and fell. I caught myself and thought I was fine, gave my mom a tour of the building, she left...
a few hours later I noticed that my middle and ring fingers on my right hand were swollen and blue, kept working, brittanie brought me some ice...
I finally leave the arc building at 8 in the morning, crawl into bed wake up an hour and a half later, go get coffee, fingers still blue and swollen...
after my 11:00 trad i skip lunch to finish my drawings that I hadn't done yet, teacher comes in, still not done, pin up anyway...
find out the drawings wont be collected till wednesday, rush to campus health before they close, talk to the nurse who makes an appointment for tomorrow at the same time as the study review for the midterm i have on thursday...
get in my car...no gas, get gas, come home to a sink full of dishes and a hungry dog, finally get to watch desperate housewives online...the only good part of this very long day!

Now i'm off to another study session for that midterm...

1st Day

So 1st day of class was yesterday. It went ok. I woke up early and went and got coffee with Kara (who has the exact same schedual as me). Then off to patterns in prehistory. The teacher seems really nice and very professional. Looks like it will be a good class, hopefully I will have time for it. Then we met up with Salome for some lunch, and then off to architecture studio!!! We got split into four sections, and were then given our first assignment. So we are really just jumping right on in. Then we had an all college meeting at 4 which was pretty interesting. But I had to leave early and run to pref night of rush. I got there, changed into a dress and heels, and then didn't get the one I wanted, so I quit. It's probably a good thing since i don't think I will have time anyway.

Also, i told macaroni grill that I can't work during the school year, and they are supposed to take me off of next weeks schedual, but i'm still schedualed to work tonight and I can't get my shift covered. I'm supposed to start at 5, but that's when my class ends :/ Hopefully I'll find someone...

So that's pretty much it for me. Now I am off to my second day which will consist of architecture classes starting at 8 and not ending till 5! Yay!

So, I haven't updated in quite a while. Would anyone possibly be interested in getting a pedicure and/or going to see step up on saturday morningish???

Anyway...I haven't updated since michigan. it was soooo much fun. I hadn't seen any of them in 5 years. I will post some pictures when my dad finally gets me a copy of them. I learned to wake board, and went tubing, and got to meet my cousins little kids. they are the cutest things ever!

Havent done much since I've been back. I'm going to start training to be a server at the mac shack soon!

I miss everyone :(

First: Happy Birthday Ruth!!!

Ok, so I haven't updated in a really long time. So.......I've been working...a lot. But that means I get more money so it's all good. Along with work, I've been spending quite a bit of time with a certain someone. Still not 100% sure, but I am happy.

Oh, I am leaving for my cousin's wedding in Michigan in a few days. (Christian can you still watch my dogs???) I'm excited to get some form of a vacation! and I think we are gonna go to Chicago for some shopping either before or after the wedding!!! and I get to see my other cousin's new baby, and possibly my OTHER cousin's fiance. (I dont' have a huge amount of cousins, I just didn't think saying their names would make any sense)

Anyway...hopefully before the school year starts I want to have a big party at my new house (maybe a housewarming party??? although it's kinda late for that since we moved in a while ago) but anyway...days??? ideas??? let me know

So, I have been pretty busy lately with my class and work...that would be why i haven't seen anyone of you in eons!
Although, Last night I did take a big break from work. I hung out with the macaroni crew for the first time. Crystal (a server) had her last night at macaroni grill yesterday so she had a bunch of people to her house last night. I finished 1/3 of my essays and went over there at like 11:30. It was really fun. About half the people were from macaroni, and I have no idea who the rest were, although there was one guy named nick that asked me if i went to utterback...I still can't figure out if I had any classes with him or anything...oh well. I pretty much sat on the couch and talked most of the time, or else watched others play beer pong. Then afterward I went to Tate's house (another server) and saw the puppy that he found yesterday morning. She was really cute! Then I went home and went to sleep!!! Very fun night!

I <3 Little Nemo! I hadn't watched that in soooo long. It's ridiculous, but I love it.

Anyway...I haven't been up to much lately. Just trying to catch up on sleep and homework. Which I think my sleep schedual is finally ok, I just have A LOT of reading to do. My family has been doing a lot at my new house. We finally have the RO filter installed. And all of the grout that has been put in has been sealed! They also bought at futon. It's coming along!!! Now i should head off to go help Ann (the lady I'm helping). Crazy fact: she saw Frank Sinatra live when she was 20! How cool is that???

Today I got a letter from the college of architecture.......I GOT IN!!!!! *huge sigh of relief* :) I'm soooooo happy. The worst part was I was at my new house since early this morning, when my mom went home to get ready for work she got the mail and there it was. So I had to wait till after her patient when she would bring it to the house since I wanted to open it myself.

Over all this is just a good day. Lisa found out she is now number 9 in her class. I got my letter. And Kyle comes back.

So...I am officially the owner of my very own house. well actually Brittanie owns half of it, but it still counts. Anyway, my family has spent every spare moment of these past few days there; painting and ripping up tile. we have almost finished all of the painting, and my dad and I are going to start laying the new tile down today!!!

I just have to share this cause I think it is hilarious!!! so since we just closed on it, we haven't had the water turned on yet, so my dad went to ask the neighbor to borrow their hose. No one answered so my dad just hooked it up cause we really needed it. A while later Britt notices that the water was shut off. So my dad heads back over there to apologize and to explain, but the guy got really mad at him, so my dad offered to pay for the water he used. My dad comes back and explains this to us and my mom says that Brit adn I should go and give him the money and try to make him feel bad for being a jerk to two cute girls. So we head over and bring him the money and he says "oh, cool, thanks" then we go back. about 5 minutes later the neighbor comes to our door with the money and apologizes saying that he had a really bad day before that and that we should take the money back.

I just laughed. My mom's plan totally worked. LOL

Ok, so the park is right behind the target on broadway and craycroft. You can turn in off of craycroft rosemont or 5th, but not broadway. Then park is kinda in the middle of the neighborhood. As for what people can brin gif they want to: I'm gonna bring fruit, crackers and cheeses, and cookies. So, drinks, or anything....

Ok, so tomarrow (Sunday) morning at approximately 11am there will be a picnic. There will be food, i'm not quite sure what yet, but please feel free to bring food with you too so that there will be more to go around. If anyone doesn't know how to get to the park just let me know, and I will tell you. Oh, and one kinda weird thing, if we have a lot of people then we can just have a picnic, but if there aren't too many we can also go in the pool, if anyone wants to. so bring a bathing suit if you want to just in case. If lots of people are gonna want to swim then let me know soon so i can call the pool and get a ramada and we can cancel the picnic idea. It's all just whatever you guys want.

Sorry if that was rambling and somewhat confusing. Anyway, If anyone wants to come early to my house to help me prepare come on over! And again everyone is invited.

I BOUGHT A CAR!!!!! It's a 92 toyota camry in nearly perfect condition!!! I'm so happy. Now I've got a car, a job, and almost a house!!!! This is a good summer. Now i'm off to get certified for work

I feel like I haven't updated in forever...or at laast quite a while anyway. I have a good excuse though: on sunday my mom and I both got really sick. I 'got sick' about 5 times. Monday we were both feeling a little better, but I had to go to my job training and she got to sleep, then Tuesday was the same. Now wo far I haven't been able to eat very much and still feel good, and we had to try some food on both Monday and Tuesday. Great food, but it made me feel kinda sick. Then I woke up at 1:30 in the morning on Wednesday (my mom's birthday) and 'got sick' again. Not fun. But I dragged myself to training again yesterday, but they didn't give us food again so I was fine. This morning I am feeling much better but it may just be my excitement for DaVinci!!!

To results of being sick are:
1. I never had that picnic
2. I've lost quite a bit of weight
so to remedy both at the same time, I think I may have a picnic (or pool party with food) It wouldn't be for my birthday, just a get toghther so everyone can get together again. I feel like I haven't seen some of you in sooooo long!!! I don't know when this would take place (possibly saturday or sunday), but let me know what you think...

So, it totally doesn't feel like my birthday is going to be tomarrow. I've spent so much time thinking of other things that I haven't even picked where I want my parents to take me to dinner. So far my plans for tomarrow are: wake up early cause Lisa wants to give me something before she goes to school, get up, shower, get ready, then either pack up some stuff, read, or do some last minute studying for physics, then at 2 I get to take my physics final. Then I'll probably pack up some more, then head home and go out to dinner. Stupid physics final ruins my day. Hopefully I will do really well on it, and it will make me happy!!! *crosses fingers* My roomate left this morning, and I really like being able to see the floor, dressers, desks, and sink!!! And she actually vacuumed! The counters were still dusty, but I quickly remedied that with some windex and a few paper towels.

One thing I may do for my birthday is have a little get together at the park by my house on monday morning at like 10ish. I'm not sure if this is going to happen, but please let me know if you would be able to come. Although this is no good for those still in school. Maybe this plan needs some re-thinking....anyway, now I'm off to...read, maybe....or study....I'll find something to do!
